Back in Office

Sorry to have been out-of-pocket lately. I've been in the midst of building our digital media company and landed in a flurry of excitement over our first set of clients. Passion gets you all kinds of distracted...
More on that later.
For now, here are three lessons I've learned these past few weeks, that I would like to always remember. If you'd like to hold onto these as well, we can both be full of gratitude and confidence, and wouldn't that be great!
1. Starting something new will always be terrifying. It doesn't matter how well-set up you are, if you're a human there will be an existential moment (or, in my case, two weeks) of primal terror. Tim Ferriss does a great job of helping us break down our mental barriers HERE.
Remember that once you've succeeded at something once, its just a matter of doing it again. Once you begin hacking away at the project you'll remember all the lessons from the past, and will not repeat them.
2. Never fully invest yourself in any one project. Whether its a side hustle, an after-hours freelancing gig, or an online business, keep moving on multiple fronts. Entrepreneurs can't rest on only one stream. And yes, building the others means you'll give up your nights and weekends fora little while. (Sorry no one has seen me lately).
3. Enjoy the moment while you are in it. You never know where you'll go with it, and it would be a shame to have to look backward in order to appreciate what you've built. Just ride through each moment you get to experience, and be grateful.
