Seeking Connection

Seeking Connection

I’m in New York this week! You here?

Headed to Miami next week. You?

In Charleston this week! Time to catch up?

This is how we text.

A series of geographies, seeking connecting paths. Sometimes, even crossing one another in airports.

Friendship, for us, is an act of catching one another in the same place and at the same time. Even if only for a moment. Sure, we could just text or call, which we do on occasion. It’s not the same.

We’re the digital ninjas, thought leaders, and transformers. Which is exactly why we value the magic of a good ol’ face-to-face moment with one another.

Maybe biocentrism is nonsense, but there really is something magical that happens when you’re face to face.

If I got to see you this year, thank you for connecting with me. If we haven’t crossed yet, there is still plenty of 2018 left, and I hope to spend a part of it with you. Also, it’s 9 days until my birthday, and I get it, its during Art Basel Miami. I’m not planning a thing. Just go have fun, and if you wish to spend face to face time, let’s do it together.
