Oh, you just want an easy life?

Oh, you just want an easy life?

“I want to create a business but I don’t know what. What is a safe business to create, in your opinion?”

This question was posed to me recently. There is no judgment meant here, but I think the answer is important.

These days, a lot of people don’t want to solve problems. They just want answers delivered to them. They want the benefits, but the work that goes into it earning them: not so much.

Entrepreneurship is about seeking to solve real world problems for real people. There is no shortcut.

And if you’re just looking for an easy answer, or get rich quick plan, you’ve got no business being an entrepreneur at all.

The truth is that some people want to be entrepreneurs, but are supposed to be great employees.

How to know the difference: ask yourself what is your real “why” behind your desire? If it turns out that there is no true purpose (other than $) then its probably best you go work for someone else.
