Innovation and Inclusion: a Panel to the Petroleum Industry
Jessica spoke on a panel on innovation and inclusion last week to professionals in the petroleum industry. Below is a recap.
From CEO, Katie Mehnert:
Yesterday was epic — Every time we get our Pink Petro community together in person and online magical things happen. Mike Adams, Elizabeth Rogo, Michele McNichol, Brittany Schaefer, Jessica Higgins, JD MBA BB, David Skinner, Alma Del Toro gave rich insights on innovation and the dawn of an era of energy entrepreneurship to over 300. We also celebrated Champions of Culture change — with over 9 organizations in the fight to drive a more equal and harassment free workplace — organizations setting what the culture needs to be. Thanks to Jennifer Hohman who spoke about the realities of the sex trade and Amanda Accardo who spoke about our commitment to Lean In Energy a mentoring non profit we formed to bring mentoring to women in our industry to scale globally. It was just an incredible day and I’m honored to call so many of you friends colleagues and champions. We are (women and men) changing the face and culture in industry — we aren’t talking about it. We are demonstrating it and we have an influential collection of communities working together. Because together we are truly better.
